Oreo Dessert

Another recipe from my mother in-law and also my husband favorite dessert and his sisters favorite dessert. They both request this on there Birthday and rarely are there any leftovers.

Oreo Dessert

30 Oreos
1 stick of butter (melted)
Combine and pat into a 9 x 13 glass pan
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream (softened)
Slice ice cream and place on oreo crust
Put into the freezer

Topping
4 squares semi sweet chocolate
2 Tbs butter
5 1/3 carnation evaporated milk
1 cup powder sugar
1 tsp of vanilla

In a saucepan melt chocolate and butter, Add milk, sugar, and vanilla. Bring to a boil over low heat stirring constantly. Cool. Spread over the ice cream. Return to the freezer (at least 4 hours or over night.)
